We want everyone to feel that no matter what your race, creed or sexuality you feel accepted when you listen to our records and come to our shows. I was always the kid in school that was picked on and made to feel different because I listened to rock music and didn’t shop at the gap, because I played the guitar after school instead of playing football. There are still a lot of close-minded people who still think that homosexuality is a curse and would love nothing more than to make queerpunks feel like they don’t belong. Its really all a matter of fear, people fear what they don’t understand. I’m glad that someone has started this site to educated the gay community on who’s who in rock these days, and to let people know which bands support queerpunks and which bands dont. We are all for it. Thanks for letting us feel a part of it.
