In this thick jungle of music, it’s a difficult task for anyone to find something worth listening to. There’s so much out there it’s impossible listen to it all and decide whether or not you like it. That is, unless someone points you in the right direction. Thus, the incarnation of Jaffa Recommends. Each week, around the weekend, I’ll post about another queercore or queer friendly bands for your perusal. Maybe, just maybe, you’ll find a new favorite band.

Jaffa Recommends: Kids On TV
This Toronto based band is a hard one to define. Not-quite house, not-exactly punk, but with a definate art edge; Kids On TV is an unabashed queercore band. With songs like Cockwolves and Breakdance Hunx there’s no second guessing what the duet of singers are all about. Infused with house beats, live instruments, and video and other art elements Kids On TV are definately a very unique band worth listening to. And with all of their music available for download online, there’s no way you can miss this act.

“…a hard one to define”
are my exact thoughts. Not exactly my taste in music, but pretty nice recommendation.
