I’ve decided to shut down the message board once and for all. It’s getting spammed like crazy and it seems only 2 people are actively posting. I’m tired of it.
If you want to post something, register here and post it here. Registered users will be able to comment on the post as well.
Also, I’ve added a DIGG function to the stories. I encourage all of you to digg a story if you like it. There’s also other sharing functions as well. I’m exploring other features for the website that would have more of a web 2.0 feel as well as a community. I’m open to any suggestions as well.
One more thing - A podcast is coming soon with interviews from rockstars.

The “problem” with the site is that it lacks content. As of right now it pretty much just feels like a blog. Example, when I first found the site, I had to look up the Queercore culture on Wikipedia. Ideally, someone should come to QueerPunks.com and be able to learn what it’s all about here. I can also see how someone might visit the site once and then forget about it. Gay punk news doesn’t exactly happen every day…or even every week, therefore you need something to keep people interested.
