Here’s an update from Pansy Division:

Hi Pansy Division fans,

We have a few things on tap Pansy-wise that we wanted to share with you.

1. First off, we’re having a show in San Francisco, the first one in over a year! We are playing Saturday, April 21, at Cafe du Nord, 2370 Market Street. We are opening for The Avengers; it’s a 21+ show, $12; doors at 8:30, first band at 9. The opening band will be Southern Girls, featuring ex-Pansy Patrick Goodwin. Luis & Joel, of course, will be doing double duty playing that night with The Avengers as well as PD. To buy advance tickets, go to www.cafedunord.com.

Luis & Joel also play in The Plus Ones, and they are playing their own show at Cafe du Nord the previous night, April 20.

2. Also in April: our first recording session in almost five years! We are going to record a handful of new songs, though there’s no clear plan for a future release. We hope to play some of the new ones at the du Nord show.

3. Myspace stuff: We have a myspace page, and now Jon’s prior band The Outnumbered has a brand new page . Also, a band from Denver called the Faggots of Death have covered our song “ANTHEM” and you can hear it on their myspace page.
4. We have a new email address: pansydivisionmail@gmail.com. Change your address books!
