Fred Phelps has been fairly ubiquitous lately with him being covered picketing the funerals of soldiers, and recently stating that his family will picket the funeral of fellow douche bag Jerry Falwell. The BBC recently had a one hour special with Louis Theroux where he spends a several days inside the Westboro Baptist Church compound.
The video is quite long but well worth watching.

That was incredibly informative. This is actually the first time I’ve seen this documentary in its entirety, and it’s interesting to watch how the church itself is influencing the family, especially the little kids that don’t get a thing and the ones that are old enough to make their own decisions. The 21-year-old girl seems to be the one that thinks the most about what her life would have been if she decided to follow her own lead; she’s a bit more open to discussion and kind of admits she may be tempted by a normal life.
And is it just me, or I kinda felt a thing between her and Louis?
Anyways, for once it was good to see a good and objective look at this family instead of a bunch of people saying they’re morons.
First off, that women and her husband never needed to have children. Second, I’ve grown up in a Roman Catholic Italian/Slavic/Scottish family who was a hell of a lot more accepting of me!
And thrid, screw Osama, we need to take these people out.
